check out the new ride, yo!

we went to the park on mommy's birthday. it was great weather and a super smooth ride. jeyu slept the whole time and we were able to keep up with sunny!

this stroller is the rolls royce of strollers! stylin'!

jeyu's first tubby time!

we were surprised to find that jeyu really enjoys his bath time. we thought it would be more of a challenge since he hates to be cold. it seems that the warm water was quite relaxing for the little guy.

until now, we have been giving him sponge baths which were not his favorite!

he peed on his bear towel before we even got to the bath, so we had to switch to his moo cow robe.

jeyu is cold. his tears don't keep us from covering him, so he pees on us. boys.
































duke is getting very good at swaddling, diapering and maneuvering the moby wrap that jeyu loves to hang out in!
such a good dad!













i made these hats for jeyu's friends halloween costumes. brynn's cat hat is a little big and he is not impressed! he does not seem to mind the pink bow on the witch hat however. i can't wait to show you his costume! you'll have to wait until halloween for that!

new mom slacks on blog...

sorry, it has been awhile since i have posted anything new...this guy keeps us pretty busy! i can't imagine what it is like to be a single parent! i am very grateful that duke is such an awesome appa (daddy)!

status update

on day four, jeyu had managed to bulk back up to his birthweight of 6# 13oz! (25th %)
his length was measured at 20" (50th %)
his head circumference was 14" (50th %)

healthy boy! and a good eater...at the lactation specialist's he ate the average amount of a 10 day old! this guy is blowin' up!

proven to be a good eater for his 11 day appointment...jeyu has gained almost a pound this week for a whopping weight of 7# 9oz! he has his mama's appetite! dr. martin says that he is perfect! jeyu's bellybutton has healed and he is cleared for a full on bath! (boy, does that thing stink when it finally falls off...ugh!)

jeyu really is an awesome kid! he only cries when he is getting his diaper changed. he hates to be cold. soon enough, i'm sure, he'll hate to be clothed. i just love him so much.
