5 months...dang, time flies!

this big boy is starting to get around...can't leave him alone anymore! he is scooting all around and about to add rolling from his back to his belly very soon. we put him down for naps and he dozes off on his own (most of the time), however sometimes he enjoys a bit of playtime first...as you may notice.

dinner!

jeyu had his first "real" food on friday! he opened his mouth up like a little bird! he gave us a funny face for his first taste, but now he eats like a champ! was there any doubt in your minds that our son would be a heathy eater?!

20 weeks!

a lot has happened in the last few weeks! jeyu experienced his first snow and made a snow angel.

we went on a road trip to ashland, oregon. it was very relaxing. we got to catch up with good friends. auntie mandi and uncle steve got to get some baby time in before they have their own this april!

jeyu got a new exersaucer toy. he loves it. we refer to it as "the neglector." our dining room is now a playroom.

jeyu is still in the 90th percentile for height. he is almost as tall as his 8.5 month old buddy, bodie, pictured above. our little drooling machine is gnawing on anything he can...those two bottom teeth have yet to poke through. we can see them, so close! everybody's sleep has been affected! jeyu still loves tubby time and duke still loves to give him crazy tub hair-dos. haha!

4 month check up

jeyu had his 4 month check up earlier this month. he is as healthy as can be...weighing in at 16 pounds and up to 26.5 inches! where is our baby?! as of february 7th, he can roll over. he holds his head up high and we've started him practicing in his johnny jump up. he doesn't quite get it, but we expect that he'll love it. he LOVES to jump and bounce on our laps.

16 week old fatty!

jeyu is fat and happy. he loves to hang out with a crowd of people and lets everybody hold and hug him. he finally got to meet his buddy sammy, and giggles at all of the funny noises that sammy makes.

jeyu loves to watch brynn run around...she moves so fast now!

emo jade came to visit...jeyu is about 5 inches taller and 8 pounds heavier since her last visit in october!

jeyu is a very happy and sweet little boy. we really couldn't ask for better! as far as we can tell from our home measurements, he is over 15 pounds and about 25 inches tall. we'll know for sure after his 4 month appointment in february.

it appears that our little guy may get some teeth soon. he is very slobbery, chews on anything he can and we are able to see the little buds forming where his 2 bottom teeth will be popping out. oh so bittersweet. no more gummy grin.

baek-il (100 days)

jeyu turned 100 days old on january 12, 2011! long ago in korea, babies who survived until their 100th day, usually lived out a long and healthy life. this occasion is celebrated with a feast.

jeyu's first christmas!

jeyu is getting so big! he smiles and giggles all of the time. he is really interacting with his toys and sunny.
